The Director of Digital Learning and Literacy will be responsible for creating and implementing a vision for the school's library and digital learning initiatives for students in 6th through 12th grade. The Director will create, oversee, and implement a 21st-century information-sharing and collaboration strategy and space for Newark Academy. We seek to expand the traditional library experience to include digital/blended learning, student agency, and experiential learning. The Director of Digital Learning and Literacy will ensure and support creative and effective use of the learning commons, technologies, and opportunities for innovation, in order to serve the needs of the school community. This individual will create a culture and space that is academic, social, and innovative.
