The University of Michigan's College of Literature, Science, and the Arts is hiring a Systems Administrator to join a diverse team of professionals dedicated to successful advancement of educational and research activities. You will work with the Infrastructure team to proactively and reactively manage Windows Servers and Services. You will assist in Windows IIS Web Server (Web Apps) administration, automation tasks, and participate in the exploration of modernized Windows administration within on-premise containerization environments and the Azure cloud environment.
You will report to the Infrastructure Lead Supervisor in LSA Technology Services and this job offers hybrid work opportunities. The target salary range for this position is $64,000 - $80,000.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Assurance or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 2 years of information technology experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience of applied Windows systems administration technologies, practices, or services
Understanding of fundamental systems administration concepts including: Scripting and Automation, Enterprise Networking, Storage, Virtualization, Directory Services, Policy Administration
