JOB SUMMARY

Performs responsible supervisory and participatory work directing recreation activities at County recreation centers, aquatics facilities, parks, athletic fields, and playgrounds. Plans, schedules, promotes, and administers a comprehensive recreation program; develops and coordinates general recreation programs, athletics, camps, and special events using public recreation facilities operated by the County.

Education and Experience:

An equivalent combination of relevant training, education and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred:
    • Event Management
    • Sports Management
    • Physical Education
    • Recreation Management
  • Seven (7) years of experience in event management, recreation management, leisure services, athletic or recreation programming, to include supervisory experience.

Licenses and/or Certificates:

• Must maintain a valid driver's license.
