The Diocese of Gallup is searching for a superintendent of schools  to begin ministry here in July 2025. There are eleven Catholic schools in the diocese. The diocese is in northwest New Mexico and northeast Arizona - three schools in Arizona (PK-12, PK-8, and PreK-5) and eight schools in New Mexico - all eight are grade schools. The diocese is 55,000 square miles; the center of the diocese is the 33,000 square miles of Navajo reservation. There are six smaller - pueblo tribes in the diocese as well. About half of the students are Native American, 1/4 Anglo, and 1/4 Hispanic. The ideal candidate will have years of experience teaching at the elementary and secondary levels in Catholic schools and hold at least a Masters degree in school administration. The candi
