Job Profile Summary Performs highly advanced and complex management of a major division in the Parks and Recreation Department. Directly accountable for functional operations of division in its entirety. Works under limited direction with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Overview The Superintendent - Parks and Recreation oversees the implementation of the strategic initiatives of the Director for the Parks and Recreation Department. Manages accreditation, performance management, comprehensive and strategic planning of the park system, park land dedication, and other priorities and goals of the Park and Recreation Board.
