Position Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a System Administrator (Confidential) for the Office of Information Technology. Reporting to the Manager of Deskside Support Services, RUN-IT, the Systems Administrator is responsible for the technical support for the Newark Campus' computer initiatives, computer, servers, and network operations, and applications.Among the key duties of this position are the following:Provides day to day 1st and 2nd level Deskside Support to users for Windows and MacOS operating system, along with LAN/WAN networking, voice, telepresence, cell phone technology, and approvedsoftware applications support.
