The New Lebanon Central School District is seeking a visionary leader who will work strategically with the Board of Education to create goals and programs supporting the diverse needs of our community. The preferred characteristics of the successful candidate will include: A passion for public education and an advocate for our students and staff. Experience as a teacher, building principal, central office administrator or superintendent (and is certified or eligible for state certification as a school district administrator). Strong background in budgeting, capital projects, labor negotiations, and facilities management. The ability to recognize, cultivate and retain teaching, administrative, and support staff talent in a competitive job market.
