The Board of Education plans to offer a salary in the range of $160,000 - $180,000 based on qualifications with a competitive benefits package. The successful candidate will be offered a three-year contract with an annual performance review.
The Tully Central School District Board of Education seeks a visionary Superintendent of Schools to lead their high-achieving district. The district offers diverse programs to approximately 734 students across two academic buildings, excellent academic and extracurricular opportunities, and strong fiscal practices that support a high-quality education for all students. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership, management and communication skills that are effective for a small, economically diverse area.
The Tully School District takes pride on being one of the last remaining community school districts in New York State. Qualities of the successful candidate will include the following, among others:
Experience as a superintendent, assistant superintendent, principal or in a comparable central office position;
Experience in curriculum, instruction and personnel;
Ability to manage the school district’s fiscal resources;
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with parents and community member
