Natomas Unified School District is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to serve as the Principal for H. Allen Hight Elementary, a TK-6 school.

H. Allen Hight (HAH) is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment. HAH plays a central role in closing the educational achievement gaps with scholars while motivating them to take action and ownership of their learning as they develop the skills necessary to compete in a globally minded society.

As a PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) school, we will continue to focus on building a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment where all students can thrive. Through clear expectations, positive reinforcement, and social-emotional support, we are committed to helping every child grow both academically and socially. Scholars are encouraged to participate in the programs available on campus, including, but not limited to: 4th-6th athletics, after-school intervention and enrichment, Student Council, Leadership, E-Sports, and more.

For invited candidates, first round interviews are anticipated to occur on February 19, with second round interviews anticipated for February 27, 2026. 

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities could qualify someone for this position. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

-Equivalent to a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in education, education administration, social work, counseling, or a related field is desired.

-Five years of responsible teaching experience is required.

-Possession of an Administrative Credential issued by the State of California
