Aromas-San Juan Unified School District is seeking an inspiring and student-centered High School Principal to lead our school community at Anzar High School. Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Principal serves as the instructional leader and chief administrator of the site, guiding efforts to advance student achievement, foster a positive and inclusive school culture, and support the professional growth of staff. 

This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who is passionate about high-quality instruction, equity, and preparing students for college, careers, and civic life. The Principal works closely with staff, students, families, and community partners to create engaging learning opportunities, strong extracurricular programs, and a safe, supportive environment where all students can thrive. 

We are looking for a dynamic leader who values relationships, data-informed decision making, and innovative approaches to teaching and learning—while embracing the unique opportunities of leading a small, connected school community.

• Master’s degree in education, public administration, or related field.
• Valid California Administrative Services Credential Required.
• Single Subject, Multiple Subject, Education Specialist with ELA and/or Pupil Personnel Credential.
• Minimum five (5) years successful teaching experience as a classroom teacher in a public-school setting, preferably in a high school setting, with increasing responsibilities at the site level.
