Job Summary

The Sutter County Superintendent of Schools is assisting Sutter Union High School District with this superintendent search, and this position is for employment with the Sutter Union High School District. Sutter Union High School District is a close-knit, student-centered district with a proud tradition of academic excellence, strong values, and deep community support. Located in the heart of Sutter County, the district serves students in grades 9-12 and is committed to preparing students for success in college, career, and life through rigorous academics, career technical education, extracurricular activities, athletics, and supportive programs that promote student growth and well-being. The Board of Trustees seeks a superintendent who will honor Sutter’s history, culture, and traditions; build meaningful relationships with students, staff, families, and the community; lead with transparency and integrity; and make decisions based on what is best for students.

Expected Start Date: July 2026

Must hold the appropriate California credential.
